Per la sperimentazione è stato utilizzato:

  • il virus influenzale sottotipo A/H1N1, ceppo WSN/33, derivato dal virus responsabile della pandemia di Spagnola del 1918 e filogeneticamente correlato con il virus pandemico del 2009. 
  • il virus Echovirus 7, appartenente al genere Enterovirus, molto resistente nell’ambiente e trasmesso per via alimentare. Alla stessa famiglia appartengono i Rhinovirus, responsabili di infezioni delle prime vie respiratorie.

Sono state effettuate prove preventive – prima del trattamento con il sistema Gioel – sia su una superficie dura (acciaio), che su una superficie porosa (tessuto naturale di cotone), per verificare la capacità di mantenere inalterata l’infettività virale.

Il trattamento a vapore con il sistema Gioel, ha portato alla completa inattivazione dei virus presenti. Anche l’acqua di scarico del cestello si è dimostrata priva di virus infettante, suggerendo quindi che non sono stati semplicemente aspirati e poi trattenuti nell’acqua, ma inattivati dal calore.

L’inattivazione è avvenuta su due superfici di largo impiego come l’acciaio (superficie dura) e il cotone (superficie porosa). Inoltre le cariche virali sperimentali utilizzate erano ben più elevate rispetto a quelle che si possono naturalmente trovare sulle superfici ambientali.

La possibilità di pulire ed igienizzare con filtro ad acqua rappresenta quindi una pratica igienica alternativa di basso impatto ambientale che elimina i rischi legati all’utilizzo di prodotti chimici.

Gioel risulta essere di particolare utilità sia a livello domestico che in ambienti comunitari quali alberghi, ospedali, case di riposo, senza dimenticare il suo possibile utilizzo per la sanificazione dei mezzi di trasporto pubblici e privati.

Il sistema vapore-aspirazione con filtro ad acqua Gioel serie 400 è in grado di pulire e sanificare completamente una superficie (come il parquet o il tappeto) da polvere, microrganismi quali batteri, funghi e lieviti, sostanze allergizzanti prodotte dagli acari di derivazione domestica ed animale.

Prova 4

L’apparecchiatura Gioel serie 400  è in grado di rimuovere completamente dalle superfici gli inquinanti chimici di origine ambientale, intrappolandoli nell’acqua di lavaggio con un semplice trattamento di aspirazione. Sono stati trattenuti i metalli pesanti presi in esame: Piombo, Cadmio, Nichel, Cromo.
